This is really exciting news and we should all keep an eye out for the trials. As the abstract states, because of the known virus and the iodine that should work in favor of a faster acceptance with FDA and the powers that be.

Mainy,

I just saw this!  How exciting and hopefully they will fast track the human trials.

thanks for making the link hot, my old tried and true method seems to have been banned from the site. Sigh. Wish I knew why the admin added the "NoFollow" to the site.

No Follow?  What does that mean?

When you type in your comment, at the bottom of the posting square it says in small print "NoFollow is applied to all links from this Forum" I looked it up with Google and it says it doesn't allow hyperlinks...which apparently means that my old fashioned method of linking no longer gets to be hot. Sigh. I'm not sure if that is something that's been done to help prevent trolls from hanging out here and trying to sell us golf clubs or what.

Mainy,

How funny I never noticed that until now!

I hope this new research leads to clinical trials soon.  We'll have to keep an eye out on this and post if some become available.
