There is a survey for breast cancer survivors that looks at the relationship of Breast Cancer and Diabetes.  It explores how much information people are given about diabetes during their treatment.  It is a new kind of clinical trial format called PCORI.  That stands for "Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute".  This research has actually been created by a breast cancer patient and she has enlisted the help of a university research group.  I am on the panel as a patient member.  It is a chance for actual patients to create a clinical trial that they are interested in.  It is funded through the Affordable Care Act.

The survey isn't too long or difficult.  If you would take it, it would be a big help to this project.  I am a 5 year survivor of Triple Negative BC and used this forum for support when I was going through treatment.  This is the lifeline that I needed when I thought the sky was falling!

Thanks, Nita

Sorry, this survey is not "up" right now because of a violation of a rule with the university that is helping sponsor it.
Thanks,
Nita

Hi Gordon,
I have been very blessed.  As the time goes by it seems like it was a dream but I know what fear that diagnosis can mean.  Hope your wife is doing well.  Remember you just have to throw the kitchen sink at this.
