So I finished my 8 weeks dose dense A/C in Sept and then finished my 12 weeks of taxol on Jan 9th. I had my consultations with surgical onc and plastic surgeon earlier this month and was told today I can't get in for surgery until Feb 26th as the surgical onc is booked up. My medical onc and surgical onc feel that things should be ok to wait although previously my medical onc said surgery should happen in about 3 weeks after finishing chemo. I'm looking a 7+ weeks.

I'm trying not to panic but I can't help feeling that if live cells are remaining, this lengthy wait could give them a chance to regroup and get stupid.

Any thoughts or experiences you all might like to share are appreciated.
