Tammy,
Welcome to this site, even though none of us wanted to be here. There is so much to learn about this disease. Congratulations on only having 4 more Taxol treatments to go!! This itching thing does need to be investigated. Best wishes for the rest of your chemo.

Every time I look around on the forum i find something new to read. I also had a very itchy nipple for quite some time prior to my dx and really started itching all over just before it - my face and neck were redder than usual too - i was told my histamine levels were probably up for some reason.

I never saw this post in my past reading either. I had a very itchy nipple for about a year before I was diagnosed, only on the cancer side. My nipple would itch intensely with a very deep itch. I asked my GP at my checkup and she said it was nothing. She too is a BC survivor. Interesting...

Certainly I remember being very itchy before my first DX in 2008, then again, right before all the stuff started in my neck, when I was DX with TNBC in 2010, and yet a third time, when I was most recently DX with IBC this past month.
I'm getting paranoid about anything that itches, these days!
There must be something to all this - but what do we know? We're just the patients.
There must be soooo much valuable data to be compiled by all our stories that could shed light on some of the mysteries of this cancer. If only I could figure out a way to capture it in a meaningful, intelligible manner.
Well, take care, all.

Debris,
I agree, wish we could capture it all somewhere. - A massive questionnaire completed by all TNBC patients? - designed by US since we experienced all the symptoms of this disease.
