Heather was a very extraordinary person who I had the pleasure of knowing and working with between 2006 and 2012. We worked in the marketing department of Thomas Cook Canada Inc. Heather was a woman of many talents, someone who always wore a smile and could trade barbs with the best of them. Heather was diagnosed around the same time in late summer of 2011 as my wife Sara had been. They developed a mutual support through emails to each other and became friends. I can still read their exchanges today on the computer. They had the chance to meet in the summer of 2012 while Heather was back in Toronto to visit with friends. Sadly, Heather died in early August of tnbc. Below is a link that is a fitting tribute to her memory.

Thank you for sharing.  Heather sounded like an amazing person and so full of life and energy.  I'm so saddened about another loss to this disease.  May all her friends and family keep their memories of her close to their hearts.

Thank you for letting us know. Though most of us here have never met in person, the bond we share is strong and personal. Sending loving thoughts to her family and friends.

Thank you for sharing Heather Qually with us.  My sympathies to her family and friends.   Mainsailset is correct in says the bond between us triple negative sisters is strong.  Love to you Courtice.  Good to hear from you, but wish it didn't have to be this way.
