Mom and I both had had Lymph Nodes removed. She had 3 and I had one. She was very upset that I wouldn't wear a Medic Alert bracelet or necklace because I found them such a constant reminder of my TNBC and well, they are just not very attractive Thumbs Down IMHO. I know, I know, vane but well with the lack of hair, scars and all I just wasn't interested in a stainless steel bracelet, and I wasn't totally convinced I needed one. My oncologist set me straight and said, "GET ONE".

I then came upon an ideaHug Lamp. I headed to the corner craft store and picked up some pretty beads, wires and clasps a got busy. Now I have interchangeable bracelets, anklets and necklaces that I can easily attach my medic alert tag to. I'm happy, Mom's happy all is good in the family. Tongue
If anyone would like help with making them for themselves, just shot me a PM. I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
