Diagnosed TNBC stage 2c in March 2016.
Mets to bones TNBC stage 4 May 2017.
Xeloda 3 cycles failed...Mets to liver last week...small, covering about 2 cm.
Just ran my hand down back of neck while yawning and there is a lump under my skin.Maybe only pea size and does not hurt, no head for a blind pimple. Please tell me this is nothing....Liz

Libby,

Have you recently had the cold or the flu?  I've had my lymph nodes swell during and after an illness.

Thank you for replying.
No I haven't had a cold - just a mild UTI that I didn't even start the antibiotics given.
I hadn't thought of that though. I think it feels more like a hard lump rather than swelling, but I will keep this thought of hope until we get home. In the caravan for another day, so will just enjoy for now.
All the best to you, Libby.

Quick update - I called in to see the triage nurse, and my oncologist walked past and saw me. She took me into her office and felt the lumps - she said they could well be cancer, but they will be used to determine how the next lot of chemo (caelyx monthly IV) is working. I was happy with this, and will be even happier if they don't grow!
