I'm starting chemo in 2 weeks and trying to prepare myself and take as many preventive side effect measures.  Looking for advise from those who have tried the below tactics.

Questions:
1.  I'm wondering if any one has used the cooling caps to prevent hair loss with any success?

2.  Or used cool therapy gloves and booties to prevent Neuropathy?

Dx TNBC IDC 12/18/18 (age 53), Stage 1, Grade 3, 1.6cm, 0/5Nodes, BRCA-1 Neg, BRAC-2 inconclusive, Left breast. Double Mastectomy w/ recon., Starting TC x 6 on April 26th.

Hello BlueWater.
I also was diagnosed with stage 1 tnbc with clear margins and nodes after 18 years of being clean from a previous breast cancer. ) I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction(still in progress) and had my first chemo TC April 4th. I didn't have any naseau and was able to walk 4 miles on the treadmill after treatment!

I am using the Paxton Scalp Cooling System. I won't know if it helped until the end of this week or next week for round 2 of TC.  I will keep you posted. I'm hoping it works so I don't lose all of my hair.
