I am currently on my 7th day post chemo cycle 1.  The nausea is pretty bad.  Meds and sucking on ginger candies is not helping.
Any recommendations?  I see my Dr. next week just prior to next chemo session.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.  Also, light walking and moving around.  Flush that chemo out!  Also, are there any household smells around? I ask this because I had wall plug in air fresheners and couldn't understand why I got nauseous in some rooms.  Once I eliminated those, it was much better.  Hang in there!!!!

I found eating something small every few hours and drinking decaf green tea helped a lot. Maybe changing up your meds to a different nausea med might help as well. I also found if I wasn' t drinking enough I felt worse. Good luck and stay strong.

I've heard from a number of people that smoking marijuana was very effective at easing nausea when conventional medication had failed.

I got a prescription generic Pepsid tab that fixed nausea for me. I am also taking oral CBD marijuana, but that didnt seem to help me. I have a vape-pen with some brown sludgy marijuana goop in it, and that didnt seem to help either. The pepsid fixed me right up. Zantac may also help with the acid reflx. I am drinking 2-3 quarts of water a day, very important. I hope you found something that worked for you.
