Has anyone had Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI)? It is an imaging technique used as an aid in diagnosis when a mammogram is inconclusive. It reveals information that can help your doctor more accurately determine if an area of concern is cancerous or not.
I am in the final week of radiation.
In one month I will be having a diagnostic mammogram. It will have been one year since my original diagnosis of invasive metaplastic carcinoma/matrix producing. I'm wondering if the BSGI would be useful for tnbc followups.
What do you know?
